Bio
Tracey Cooper is the Senior Manager, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) at Illumina, working under the Global Head of Diversity. In this capacity since January 2021, she is responsible for the global Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) program, D&I Ambassador experience, and active contributions to team goals, business consulting, inclusion training, and reporting offered through the DEI team.
Prior to Illumina, Tracey was an AVP Project Manager in Compliance at LPL Financial, where she led lean/six sigma projects and efficiency initiatives. Throughout her tenure, she has collaborated closely with Diversity and Inclusion assisting with presentations, reporting, and serving as a leader of ERGs. Her background includes a decade in financial services spanning roles in Strategy, Sales, Innovation, and Project Management at Fortune 500 companies. Tracey has always enjoyed applying her passion for DEI to each role through ad-hoc contributions, research, and reporting. She has deep interest in developing talent and championing diversity, both of which enjoys in her current role.
As a speaker, facilitator and writer, Tracey shares her reflections on the lessons she’s learned to move inclusion forward through everyday actions.
